FOUNDER & CEO

Simon has been a leader in the business development and capital-raising fields for over 20 years. He has participated in over 1B USD in transactions as either an adviser or principal and has extensive experience working with family offices, institutional and private investors, and debt providers in the US, Europe, Latin America, and Asia including Fortis, Cheney, and UniCredit. Fluent in Spanish and English, he did his undergraduate and post-graduate studies in business administration at Richmond College and Heriot-Watt University in the UK respectively.

VINCE FALBO

MANAGING DIRECTOR

Vince boasts more than three decades of expertise spanning wealth and asset management, investment banking, and commercial management.

His engagement with the natural resources sector extends beyond 15 years. His notable leadership roles include serving as Vice President, Commercial Director, and Global Sales Strategist at Citigroup Inc. Later, he held the position of Senior Vice President and Head of International Business at Calamos Investments LLP. Additionally, Vince took on the responsibilities of building out the international division as a Managing Director of Eaton Vance Management (International) Limited.

NORMA CANALES

PARTNER HEAD OF LATIN AMERICA FAMILY OFFICE PARTNERSHIPS

Norma has experience in project structuring and Investment Banking with a focus on energy, manufacturing, and F&B projects in Latin America. She is also a specialist in Private Equity. 

She started her career at JP Morgan Chase and Morgan Stanley in their NYC offices. Norma is originally from Saltillo, Coahuila, a regular columnist at Forbes Magazine, and a trained economist from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Ariel Victoria

MANAGING DIRECTOR ASIA

Ariel is a seasoned finance executive with almost three decades of experience in finance and management, 20 years of which as a Chief Finance Officer (CFO). In his stint as CFO of Ginebra San Miguel, Inc. (GSMI) and later at Manila North Harbour Port, Inc.(MNHPI), he has led several fundraising initiatives for the various capital projects of these companies, including raising more than USD 170 Million for MNHPI’s Phase 1 Development program.

In his career as CFO of GSMI, he has successfully navigated the company from the effects of the Asian Financial Crisis in 1997-98 and the US Crisis in 2008, reducing the company’s receivables by as much as USD 50 Million. He has also led several business development initiatives including mergers and acquisitions, sale of companies and assets, manufacturing plant expansions, system implementations, and brand building. His skills include leadership, audit and risk management, organizational development, and negotiations. He has varied industry knowledge from FMCG, Manufacturing, Port Operations, Insurance, & IT

Mr. Victoria finished his Bachelor’s degree in Accounting in Colegio De San Juan de Letran and completed the Management Development Program of the Asian Institute of Management. He also attended Executive Programs at the Stanford Graduate School of Business and Massachusetts Institute of Technology

Irving Alfredo González Esqueda

Irving has served for more than 38 years in companies both private and public and government institutions in Mexico and across the globe, including Elizondo Cantu, CFE, Ernst & Young, The Regional State Government of Nuevo Leon, Bachoco, and CYDSA. He is a graduate of ITESM where he was first certified as a public accountant (1982), and also holds a Masters in Business Administration (1984), and a Masters in Finance (1997) from the same institution. 

Additionally, he has several Diplomas in Corporate Governance (2017), IFRS (2015), Government Accounting (2013), Supply Chain Management (1999), Stock Market Broker (1995), Performance Improvement Process (1993), and Finance (1992). 

Irving is a Member of the Mexican Institute of public accountants (IMCP) and the Institute of public accountants of Nuevo Leon (ICPNL).

His clients have included Citigroup-Banamex, Protego Stock Brokers, Finamex Stock Brokers, Sociedad Hipotecaria Federal, Interacciones Stock Brokers, Bank of Tokyo, American Express Bank, Bajio Bank, Principal Pension Funds, Banamex Insurance and Pension Funds, Santander Insurance & Stock Brokers, Afore MetLife Pension Funds, Prudential Insurance, HSBC Insurance & Pension Funds, Invercap Stock Brokers.

AJ Rowley

Advisory Board Member

Allan is a practising CFO with 20 years’ experience in public and private growth companies. He formerly worked for Arthur Andersen and Ernst & Young. His sector experience ranges from pharmaceutical, technology and healthcare, through financial services, fintech and recruitment, to mining and gaming. 

He has led teams across the United Kingdon, Europe, North America, Latin America, UAE, China and Japan. He is a qualified chartered accountant and a member of ICAEW. He read Philosophy at Aberystwyth University College of Wales.
